False Alarm
Yep as you can tell from the title we had a false alarm. Thursday night we had some delicious tacos at the Browne's house. Rebecca thought somthing spicy might help send me into labor. I started contracting and feeling funny and had the sudden nesting energy come over me. I cleaned out the closet and scrubbed the kitchen while watching the seventh season of the Gilmore Girls. (Thanks Molly) Well At 2:00 the next morning I woke up and I was certain that I was going to have this baby. I timed contractions for the next three hours and tried not to wake up Dave. When his alarm went off @ 5:00 I told him to forget his cycling class we were going to the hospital to have a baby. He was of course questioning my motives since he had no idea where I was coming from. He suggested we time them a little longer and wait a little while, but no way was I going to wait too long this time. Lets just say I jumped the gun. We woke up the Macks (who were up all night sick) and the Vranes Who were up Already thank goodness (except for Lexie) all so willing to sit with our still sleeping kids. Well we rushed to the hospital got all checked in gowned up. Dave began charging the cameras while the triage 3 monitors found only a few contractions now coming only every 10 minutes, and two hours of monitoring later they were practically non existent. Sorry to all those we woke up at early Hours ( Denny, Wendy, Brian, Molly, Lexie.) Rebecca's tacos almost did the trick. So glad to know that we have friends who love us enough to help us out at odd hours, and who still love us even when its a FALSE ALARM!!!

Bummer! Sorry to hear that. False alarms can be dissapointing! I hope you will have the baby soon though :-)
Oh snap dude! I haven't been that close to labor...only just getting contractions. However, tonight we went and jumped on the trampoline at a friends house, so we'll see if that helps.
My family will be here tonight (possibly tomorrow morning depending on weather) so we're going to be trying EVERYTHING to get me going. I think it would be so fun if we had them on the same day! If I don't talk to you before hand...good luck on Monday. We love you guys and will be praying for you!
At least you know there is a end in sight. Seeing as you had Dallin for the ENTIRE day when Kenna was born, we can handle a couple of false alarms. That's what friends are for. We will be waiting for the news tomorrow, GOOD LUCk!!
I'm sorry to hear about your false alarm! I'm excited to see your new bundle of joy which is coming soon! Even though I know you are ready to have your baby, you look awesome!
